Cloud based solutions have become an increasingly important tool in almost every aspect of our lives. Nowadays, these highly complex IT instruments are able to provide the much required support for the increasing demands of research activities. Aside from the actual computing power Cloud solutions offer, they open a solid pathway to collaboration. Having this in mind, our main goal is to implement a hybrid cloud solution dedicated to support research and to allow us to become partners in EOSC.
TUIASI’s Data Center is compliant to TIA-942 specifications and the University is willing to supply a consistent part of it’s IT resources to EOSC. Alongside seasoned researchers with results in fields like IoT, HPC/distributed computing, data mining and big data, our team is also comprised of specialists in various RedHat Linux distributions, Huawei network management and storage technologies, CISCO and Openstack.
