Research interests

• Cloud infrastructures for sustaining implementations of IT&C applications and services by streamlining the use of computing resources, storage space and information access and control.
• Distributed platforms for Big Data and Data Mining that have a high modularization and flexibility, and which provide the user Cloud services for information retrieval, processing the acquired data and presenting the results in a user-friendly format.
• Design and development of prototypes of digital equipment according to the Internet-of-Things (IoT) paradigm, services to integrate such equipment into Cloud infrastructures; Cloud services for the discovery and dynamic invocation of IoT equipment.
